Kids Forest at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol recently introduced a brand-new feature to keep kids entertained: Kids Forest. Children can play to their heart's content in forest-like surroundings, with actual treehouses, slides and a range of climbing and play equipment.
The new facility is specifically designed to cater to children, keeping them occupied and active during airport wait times (usually the transfer time between two flights). Kids Forest is free of charge and marks a first for any airport worldwide.
The Kids Forest concept consists of an eye-catching treehouse in which children between the ages of three and nine can run around and play amidst Dutch forest-like surroundings. Later this year a seating area will be built around the 'forest's' perimeter, offering digital entertainment and games computers for children aged 9-11 and a spot for parents to relax. But parents are also encouraged to join in the fun with their kids!
Kids Forest is located beyond passport control between Piers E and F on Holland Boulevard, right next to the Schiphol BabyCare Lounge.
